STC receives $10K Dollar General Grant
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded Sandersville Technical College a $10,000 grant to strengthen literacy efforts – purchasing new computers for STC’s Adult Education facility in Wrens and new GED books for its facilities in Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Warren, and Washington Counties.6/3/09 Full Story
STC holds GED Graduation
Sandersville Technical College held its GED graduation ceremony on June 12th at the Franks-Thiele Auditorium in Sandersville. An overflow crowd of proud, cheering family members witnessed more than 40 men and women from Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Washington, and Warren counties receive their General Education Diploma (GED). In total, Sandersville Tech added 114 more deserving names to their ever-growing list of GED completions this year. 6/25/09 Full Story
Stevens awarded Jack R. English Scholarship

STC’S New Health and Business Center Moving Forward
Sandersville - Gov. Sonny Perdue signed House Bill 119 into law on May 13th which included Sandersville Tech’s new Health Sciences and Business Development Center for the Sandersville campus – a 45,000-square-foot home for allied health programs and economic development division of the College. 5/27/09 Full Story
